Our Sunday selection: Occibel – Vernal Station (Tessellate, TESS010) French artist Occibel links up with London label Tessellate this June to release four tracks featuring remixes from T. Jacques and Harry Wills. Born and based out of Paris, Corentin Chantrell, aka Occibel, is a young DJ and producer with previous releases on Chat Noir Rec, Unanime Records and INSOUND, which illustrates his flair for producing vibrant, groove-based house tracks laced with enticing minimalism. Occibel’s ‘Vernal Station’ EP sees him join the London-based crew Tessellate joining the likes of Kylin Tyce, Firmin, Armless Kid, T. Jacques, and label bosses The Trip
