It all comes down to this. After 30 head-to-head matches and many thousands of votes, it’s time for the FINAL of the #Eurodance2021 championship, as La Bouche – Be My Lover goes up against Whigfield – Saturday Night.
La Bouche has seen off competition from Eiffel 65, Robert Miles and Technotronic to reach the final, and has lived up to its reputation as one of the competition’s dark horses. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the untimely death of La Bouche singer Melanie Thornton, and if Be My Lover can triumph in the final, it would be a fitting tribute.

Whigfield has gone one better than her Danish compatriots in Euro 2020 by reaching the final, knocking out ATB, Gala and Culture Beat on the way to today’s matchup. A solid victory over Mr Vain in the last round (by 60.18% to 39.82%) means that Saturday Night arguably goes into the final as a slight favourite, but can she go all the way?
