With opening slots for BIJOU and Golf Clap secured and soon approaching, Thomas Xavier is a name that can be expected to grow increasingly pervasive in G-house circles. For a bold demonstration why, listeners can turn to Xavier’s second-ever single, “Ballin.’”
Hot on the heels of May’s Go To Church EP—the grand opening to Xavier’s catalog—comes “Ballin,’” a percussively led G-house thriller that drills down into the low end, a reverberating bassline providing backbone. Slapping a vocal sample atop the bodywork-inducing sonic foundation, Xavier puts forth the first inclusion from his forthcoming Pussy On A Pedestal EP. Though a formal release date has yet to be set for Xavier’s sophomore EP, streamers can rest assured that what’s to come will be worth the wait. In the meantime, listeners can catch Xavier assuming opening duties for BIJOU and Golf Clap on July 3 and August 12, respectively.
